22 Best Frozen Foods From Trader Joe’s

Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe

The Spaghetti Cacio E Pepe sauce is the closest you’ll get to a classic Italian sauce. A simple two ingredient recipe inspired and created by a traditional Italian supplier this Pecorino Romano Cheese and black pepper combo is dynamite. Look for the Spaghetti Cacio E Pepe in the frozen food isle.

Mandarin Orange Chicken

If you haven’t already had it, run and try the Mandarin Orange Chicken now. This sweet and spicy orange sauce over juicy breaded chicken will make all your dreams come true. Serve over rice or noodles and add some broccoli or other veggie of choice.

Burrata, Proscuito & Arugula Flatbread

Not all frozen pizzas and flatbreads at TJ’s are created equal, but this one is a winner for sure. This flatbread requires a little more labor than your typical throw in the oven frozen pizza but it is worth the extra effort! Yum!

Roasted Garlic and Pesto Pizza with Deep Fried Crust

Another favorite pizza option from TJ’s is the Roasted Garlic and Pesto Pizza with Deep Fried Crust. We wouldn’t recommend eating this regularly as it’s chock full of calories but if you’re looking for a delicious splurge you will definitely enjoy this one. The combination of garlic and pesto with that crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside crust is just right. Bon Appetite!

Steamed Pork and Ginger Soup Dumplings

The Steamed Pork and Ginger Soup Dumplings are delicious if you are looking for some authentic Chinese cuisine without the hassle of cooking it yourself. The rich and savory broth, kick of ginger and pork make each bite flavorful and delicious. Pair with a yummy sweet and sour sauce and broccoli.

Trader Joe’s kung pao Tempura Cauliflower

A yummy vegan frozen meal with a nice amount of spice. If you have an air fryer it’s a great way to cook the cauliflower and then add the kung pao sauce at the end. Add some rice and it’s an easy and delicious meal.

Chicken Tikka Masala

TJ’s Chicken Tikka Masala is one of my favorites. This Indian meal packs a whole lot of punch and honestly tastes so authentic and good for a frozen meal. This creamy curry sauce is so yummy and flavorful. This is a great meal to have on hand and pop in the microwave when you’re on the go.

vegan tikka masala

All the delicious flavor of Tikka Masala and it’s vegan friendly! This one tastes better if you heat it on the stovetop vs in the microwave.

Pork or Chicken Gyoza Potstickers

Another Chinese meal, these Pork or Chicken Gyoza Potstickers are so delicious and flavorful. Packed with pork/chicken, onions, cabbage, sesame, soy and ginger. Best served with TJ’s gyoza dipping sauce or on top of greens with a yummy soy dressing.

Hatch Chili Mac ‘n’ Cheese

The Hatch Chili Mac ‘N’ Cheese is everything you want and need in an “adult” mac ‘n’ cheese. This fresh take on mac ‘n’ cheese has chilies from the Hatch Valley in New Mexico. These chilis are unique in their earthy, sweet, spicy and smokey flavor. Combined with the rich, creamy, cheese sauce this Hatch Chili Mac ‘N’ Cheese is so good.

Thai Sweet Chili Veggie Burgers

TJ’s has lots of frozen burger choices and these veggie burgers are a super yummy, flavorful option. Packed with lots of veggies and a delicious sweet chili sauce that makes these burgers stand out from the rest.

Truffle Cream Filled Gnocchi

These Truffle Cream Filled Gnocchi are so delicious and yummy. I love anything truffle flavored and each bite of these gnocchi are packed with delicious truffle cream sauce to perfection. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Sides & Apps

Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Simple yet delicious these one ingredient mashed sweet potatoes take all the work out of preparing a yummy and healthy side. Throw it in the microwave and voila! Add some butter, salt and pepper to taste.

Parmesan Pastry Pups

Who doesn’t love pigs in a blanket right? This fresh take on pigs in a blanket– Parmesan Pastry Pups is a more upscale, deluxe version of the classic kid friendly snack. The buttery, rich pastry and parmesan make the perfect pairing with the beef.

Chicken and beef Mini Tacos

These Chicken Mini Tacos would make a perfect party or game day app. Corn tortillas, filled with pulled chicken and a yummy roasted green salsa.

Jamaican Style Beef Patties

These Jamaican Style Beef Patties are spicy, savory, flaky and crispy all at the same time. These are perfect for a snack or add another side and make it a meal!

Sweet Treats and Desserts

The Mochi ice cream bites from TJ’s are so yummy. Ice cream wrapped in rice dough in any flavor you please with everything from green tea, to chocolate and strawberry. Try the Thai Tea Mini Mochi’s!

Hold the Cone

These little mini ice cream cones are adorable and make the perfect little sweet treat. Try the Chocolate Chip Hold the Cone and they even have a dairy-free option– Hold the Dairy! Vegan Chocolate Mini Cones.

4 Chocolate Croissants

These chocolate croissants are melt in your mouth deliciousness with flakey buttery croissant and rich chocolate in the middle. Not a chocolate fan? Try these 4 Cheese Pastry Rolls.

Gone Bananas

This used to be my favorite TJ’s sweet treat in college. I used to go through a box of Gone Bananas a week. Chocolate covered banana slices– so simple and so yummy!

Pumpkin Everything

Tis the season from pumpkin! The next time you are at Trader Joes try some of their most popular pumpkin treats– Pumpkin Sticky Toffee Cakes, Pumpkin Cheesecake Croissants and Pumpkin Ice Cream.

Instant Boba Kit

TJ’s take on this with the Instant Boba Kit, has become a popular option for those looking for their favorite vegan, gluten-free beverage from the comfort of home.
